How They Dazzle Us

Perched on the edge of an escarpment, Loisaba Tented Camp has been designed to maximise on the incredible views across Laikipia's mottled landscape - views that stretch all the way to the imposing backdrop of Mount Kenya. All accommodations and main areas boast breath taking views over an expansive panorama. Meanwhile African-themed sophistication and style is the flavour of the Landings decor and finishes. Spacious and airy tents are custom-built with large floor-to-ceiling doors and windows, high ceilings and polished wood floors. The tent suites are adorned in chic Africana furniture with a modern European twist – it is perfection.

Why We Love Them

One of the downsides of going on safari is that there can be quite a lot if the same thing over and over again. It is something of a reality that the wonderment and excitement of watching a herd of elephant on day one of your safari is a little more developed and awesome than the same experience on day five. Which is why we love Elewana Loisaba Tented Camp – because at this Landing there is so much on offer that you never need to do anything twice. Aside from the fantastic drives (both day and night), the wonderful views and the incredible accommodation, other activities include horse-riding, camel-trekking, guided bush walks, fishing, mountain biking, cultural visits to Samburu villages and visits to the anti-poaching sniffer dogs. There are no dull moments at this Landing.

As home to elephant, a healthy population of lion, rare wild dogs and an abundance of other species, Loisaba is a prime example of successful collaboration between conservation, communities, ranching and tourism.
