Given the low volumes of people who stay here and its exclusive nature it is not surprising that personal attention has become the hallmark of a stay at Governors’ Private Camp. The manager is your host and is on hand to see to all your desires and answer all your questions. You will also benefit from access to the very best guides and trackers available, experts whose knowledge of the Reserve is unsurpassed. It all makes for a very special experience.

Their Sustainable Superpower

The Governors’ team do much incredible work in the sustainable tourism and conservation space that their efforts are obvious throughout the landing and indeed in the surrounding areas. One of the special little touches that we were particularly impressed by was the toiletries! The Landing provides guests with a range of Green toiletries (including shampoo, conditioner, shower-gel, soap and body lotion) that are refilled into reusable metal canisters so as to reduce on plastic waste. They are also handmade in Kenya exclusively from natural ingredients to ensure that they are in harmony with the sensitive environment. Guests are even urged to use camp products rather than their own.
