It doesn't matter if you are looking to be educated or entertained; Nairobi's National Museum is a great place to visit to get a feel for Kenya's history, its people and its heritage. Well maintained and oozing cultural pride and heritage this is a destination well worth a visit. Aside from its exhibits the museum also boasts shops, restaurants and botanical gardens.   

The museum, which first came into being in 1910 is now open daily from 08h30 to 17h300. It is about ten minutes outside the city centre and a quick drive from the Landing.
