Named after the legendary game ranger Harry Kirkman, this wonderful old-style Landing is rich in history and a feeling of yesteryear. Kirkman, who was born in 1899 was one of the early rangers at Kruger Park, a tough man who loved the bush and the animals that lived there. Once he retired from active duty with SA National Parks he became the warden at Sabi Sands and this Landing is his home and his legacy. It is hard not to get embroiled in the excitement and maverick of the old-times when staying at this wonderfully restored Landing.
