Nestled in the private bushveld of the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve and bordering the world-famous Kruger National Park, Ngala Tented Camp’s small existence bares great character. Nearly two million hectares of unfenced wilderness forms Kruger National Park, South Africa’s largest game reserve. An unrestricted animal sanctuary that allows for free range migration into the Timbavati land, provides diversity while also offering seclusion. The camp is easily accessible from Johannesburg, either with a shuttle service offered from O.R Tambo International Airport or from a local chartered flight to a nearby airstrip. With the chic and contemporary style camp, the canvas accommodation makes you feel up close and personal with nature. Always ensuring the wildlife is protected and looked after for many years still to come, &Beyond creates a beautiful and natural intersect between tourism and conversation. You can join veterinarians and game rangers in rhino notching for research and monitoring. To understand the camp’s “eco-overheads”, monthly measures are taken on things such as; water usage, electricity consumption, diesel and petrol consumption, gas, paraffin and charcoal usage, firewood and waste production and management. Ngala Tented Camp also believes in supporting the local community and helps Welverdiend Primary School in many ways, including having built over seven classrooms.
