Their Sustainable Superpower
&Beyond has built three pillars of sustainability that are at the core of what defines them. These are: care of the land and oceans; care of wildlife and care of people. How this is acted out is unique to the location and its needs, but throughout all &Beyond’s lodges, the main thread is to ensure negative impact is reduced and large tracts of wildlands are protected by the support activities channelled through the lodges’ existences. The Africa Foundation was established in 1992 and the Phinda local community is partnered with to support education, healthcare, conservation teaching, hygiene and micro-enterprise development.
