&Beyond Vira Vira is located in "Araucana", Chile’s renowned Lake District and the homeland of the Mapuche people. With a backdrop of spectacular picture-perfect glacial lakes and snow-capped volcanoes, Vira Vira is located in a lush park with rivers, lagoons and rainforests with Araucaria trees dated over 1000 years old. Neighbouring the park and along the shoreline of the Villarrica Lake are colourful and vibrant villages which can be explored and enjoyed for their cultural style and cuisine. The best adventures can be had throughout the year, from summer adventures such as fly fishing, horse riding, mountain biking, hiking and water sports, to winter adventures of snowmobiling, skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing.

Unlike many holiday destinations, &Beyond Vira Vira is based on a working farm that produce organic vegetables and a wonderful array of cheeses. Visits to the modern cheese factory can be arranged. Displaying their exceptional Chilean-inspired culinary offering, the home-grown produce is used to supply the chef with healthy rich vegetables. The owners of the estate have added their personal touch to the space by individually selecting art pieces and textiles from local talent to enhance the eclectic-modern and traditional yet homey feel that it offers. The philosophy of the lodge is to minimize impact on the environment and improve the sustainability of the park. Sustainability audits are regularly conducted to determine negative impact and based on the reports, waste and environmental strategies are designed and implemented to continually reduce impact.
