The latest addition to the stable of Cottars Landing this is a very special place designed for those who want to immerse themselves in the local community and culture, and experience the day-to-day conservation efforts in a working conservancy. The camp is set adjacent to the Maasai Mara game reserve, in a tranquil spot by a trickling stream, under an oasis of tall trees. This experience is ideal for those who want the exhilaration of a night in the bush, who are prepared to sleep in small tents with simple amenities and be actively part of sustainable safari experiences. With just seven tents, this is an intimate camp that has all the essential elements for a memorable safari experience.

The Cottars Wildlife Trust are the people who benefit from the tourist activity of the Landings and it is the Trust who have made it their goal to ensure that natural biodiversity is the most valuable and productive land use option for rural landowners in Africa. What this means is that to date the Trust is actively conserving 4608 acres of land; has created 42 women’s groups, built eight classrooms and feeds 800 children daily. This Trust is active and it is making a big difference.
