How They Dazzle Us

Located on tiny Fonimagoodhoo Island which measures just 600m by 200m. This venue is remote to say the least. In many ways it is an untouched paradise and they have done everything in their power to make sure it stays that way. Only 15 percent of the land area is built on and the resort is nestled amidst lush vegetation shaded by graceful palm trees and surrounded by a white sandy beach and a lagoon of crystal clear water. It’s the ultimate venue for diving and relaxing and for getting away from it all.

Why We Love Them

Transparency is an amazing thing and we loved the fact that the team at Reethi Beach want to share their ecological approach openly with all their guests. So much so that you can take a guided tour to the ‘back of house’ where they will introduce you not only to how the resort is operated but where you will also see the applications that make them green. Their belief is that being green doesn’t mean renouncing all comfort, but rather learning how to indulge in luxury sensibly.

Their Sustainable Superpower

Located in the middle of the ocean, a half hour flight from other civilization, the main reason to visit this Landing, aside from the beautiful beaches and the tranquillity, is the coral. And the team here are heavily invested in making sure that the coral is doing well. Such is their commitment, that they have started to run projects to propagate coral and have also been responsible for mapping their entire reef-system to monitor coral growth and bleaching as well as marine life abundance. All this is done in conjunction with the IUCN.
