We love their unpretentious, old-school colonial charm mixed with plenty of activities to do and easy access to Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary. But perhaps it is the botanical garden that is most dazzling. In a verdant and green landscape this is a gem featuring a mix of rare and endangered plants and the Gilbert Reynolds Memorial Aloe Garden.

Why We Love Them
This venue is all about conservation but also about accessibility. Endangered antelope are bread here and visitors are encouraged to walk the area to encounter them from as close as possible. Photographic opportunities abound, just as they do with the countless bird species that are to be found – many are drawn to the area because of the aloes and succulents in the botanical gardens.
