It might be a small thing, but it is the little details that make all the difference and what really floated our boat in this instance was the fact that Beachcomber Resorts and Hotels, the people behind this destination, has made a decision to remove single use plastic straws from all their drinks. It might seem insignificant, but it underscores their commitment to doing things right and to looking after the ocean and the animals that inhabit it – because as we all know, it is the ocean where most straws eventually end up.
