Off the coast of Mozambique, &Beyond Benguerra Island, a paradise beach holiday destination in the Bazaruto Achipelago. This Landing consists of six islands off southern Mozambique’s coast line inside Bazaruto National Park, a protected marine conservation area, with the lodge situated on the second largest island. The abundance of coral reefs that surround the islands provide a safe haven for rare marine species, such as the dugong. The land offers wetlands, forests and grasslands and is every birders dream. And the deep lagoon is unaffected by tides and provides gentle lapping waves on unspoilt beaches.

The marine life is teeming with a carnival of colourful tropical fish, spend your days floating in the water with a snorkel or diving off some of the neighbouring reefs. Catch-and-release deep sea fishing or fly-fishing is an activity worth signing up for even if you’re not a regular fisherman. If you’re an animal lover, take an explorative horse ride through inland sand dunes and past fresh water lakes - it is an unusual horseback experience. The traditional dhow sailing boats or catamarans carry you to neighbouring islands and remote beaches where you can arrange to have lavish and romantic picnics waiting for you.
