The ocean surrounding the Bazaruto Archipelago is full of all sorts of fish and fishing opportunities. From fly-fishing through light-tackle fishing and onwards to ful day deep sea excursions to catch marlin, we really do have it all.

All fishing is on a catch-and-release basis. Fisherman come here from all over to try and land marlin, sailfish and tuna.

Fly-fishing is also popular here. Quick sinking lines are used over reefs that vary in depths from 10 to 40 metres (33 to 131 feet). This excursion is more productive in the summer months, when the fish are feeding aggressively. Target species like the king and queen mackerel, the ferocious barracuda, the bonito and the crimson snapper.
