Join us between November and January for an enchanting nocturnal adventure to watch as the clumsy leatherback and loggerhead turtles emerge from the sea to come and lay their eggs in the soft sand at one of the last key nesting sites on the continent. Wander along the shore with a torch as you search for these gentle animals riding the waves to the shore.

Watch in awe as the incredible animals, which can weigh up to 700 kilograms, exit the ocean and plough a furrow in the soft sand till they find an appropriate place to lay their scores of smooth, oval eggs. Once done she covers them with warm, loose sand and then retreats back to the inky waves.
