Regarded as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa, and as one of the ten natural travel wonders of the world, the wildebeest migration is an incredible site to behold. In short the migration sees around two and a half million animals (mainly wildebeest, zebra and gazelles) moving from the Serengeti to the Masia Mara. The movement coincides with calving season and with the quest to find a greater abundance of grazing. Every year large numbers of tourists flock to the area to view this phenomenon which is marked by many trecherous crossings of crocodile infested rivers and which is beset on all sides by hordes of predators looking to pick off the weak.

It is a great spectacle and Elewana has a number of perfectly located Landings along the migration route. You scarcely need to leave home to get a view of the columns of game and some of the many river crossings.
