There are many hiking routes that set out from Nkwichi Lodge. Pick a route that suites your fitness levels and head out along the lake's rugged coastline. The Rift Valley is a place of amazing landscapes and the area surrounding Nkwichi Lodge is not just spectacular it is also one of the continent's last unspoiled pieces of paradise.

Ask to be accompanied by one of Nkwichi’s qualified, local guides. You can picnic under a 2000-year-old Baobab tree or track game through pristine woodland. There will be the opportunity to visit villages or to hike to the top of one of the many hills to get a Fish Eagle’s eye-view of the lake from spectacular viewpoints.
