How They Dazzle Us

A private island in the middle of the powerful Zambezi River, within a stone’s throw of Victoria Falls, this really is a little piece of paradise. This beautifully appointed Landing is fringed by a beautiful tropical forest with a camouflaged path that leads to a cluster of century old baobabs. From time-to-time the cries of Fish Eagles ring out while game viewing and bird-watching are exceptional. Access to the island is by boat and needs to be booked in advance meaning that you are isolated from the rest of the world and able to enjoy sanctuary and quite in the lap of luxury.

Why We Love Them

Quite simply nothing is taken for granted by the team that runs this Landing. They are very aware of how fortunate they were to be awarded the concession to develop a camp on Tsowa Safari Island and for this reason every care and consideration has been taken to position the six eco-sensitive luxury tents in such a way as to create minimal environmental impact and to ensure that they blend into the natural surroundings as much as possible, while at the same time giving guests the chance to appreciate the trees, river, animals and birds of the Zambezi National Park.

Their Sustainable Superpower

The Isibindi Foundation was established as recently as 2019, but it was done in order to consolidate on 23 years of community and conservation projects, and also to help create a purpose driven entity to assist with the many Isibindi initiatives. The Foundation allows guests to be philanthropic travellers and to journey with purpose. The management team administer these funds and collaborate with the neighbouring communities and conservation authorities on all projects.
