The game drive is the central pillar of any safari experience and we go all out to make sure that our drives meet up to all expectations. Our afternoon drives often extend to night drives and we also have the luxury of being able to take guests off road in search of the very best sightings.

All our drives happen on the back of an open 4×4 in the company of a ranger and tracker team, who will attempt to track your favourite animals. Sabi Sands is famous for its leopard sightings and you may well spot one of these elusive cats resting after a successful night hunt.

The guides are experts in their field and they don't just drive you, they will share their knowledge with you as well. Expect them to talk about the vegetation of the region and to explain the behaviour of the animals that you come across. In some cases, the guides will be able to identify individual animals and let you know about their history and habits. Birding enthusiasts can ask their guide to identify birds that are specific to the region as well as notable migrant species.
