Separated from her mother at birth, Tala the giraffe took up with a herd of goats. She was brought to the Landing when still only a few days old where she was raised by a surrogate mother, Margaret. Now four years old she wanders the conservancy on a daily basis, but frequently returns to camp HQ which she still regards as home. She is a towering yet peaceful presence who loves to interact with the guests.
