A key part of any African bush experience is the drink at the end of the day. Known as a sundowner it is traditionally enjoyed from a vantage point with a view as the sun sinks below the horizon. Make this ritual part of your afternoon game drive experience and indulge in a drink at a waterhole as the animals come out for a drink of their own at the end of a long and hot day. The sundowner is a time to reflect on the beauty of the landscape, on the adventures of the day and to simply unwind in nature with a drink of your choice. Quite simply, if you have not drunk sundowners in the bush then you can’t say that you have been on safari.
