At every turn there is an opportunity to get involved with the staff or in a key project or aspect of daily operational life. One of these areas is in the kitchen where guests are invited to get involved in preparing meals and learning about the local cuisine.

Be it at the Landing kitchen or at the Singita Community Culinary School the opportunity is there to get involved - to learn, to create, to build relationships and to contribute meaningfully to life-changing moments. The Culinary School first began in 2007 when a small teaching facility was established in the staff village at Singita Kruger National Park. It was created to fulfil a need in the local community for skills development and improved employment potential, as well as to benefit the wider hospitality industry by producing proficient chefs that are ready to tackle any role in a professional kitchen. The programme has grown significantly since then and is now a key component of the Singita experience.
