One of the last true wilderness areas anywhere in South Africa Tswalu is able to offer you privileged access to something really special. With conservation at its core this is an opportunity to see some of the more than 85 mammals and 264 bird species at Tswalu.

Many of the animals here are critically endangered. Tswalu is one of the best places to see the heavily poached ground pangolin. You can also find desert black rhino, sable and roan, African wild dog and red hartebeest. This is all in addition to the standard Big Five.
