The Junior Ranger Programme is specifically designed to open younger eyes to the world around them. It is designed to captivate children's imaginations and to light a fire in them for conservation that will burn until they are old. The programme turns the bush into a classroom and rangers into teachers. Activities include archery, spoor identification and casting, and learning how to track animals.
And just to make sure that it is not all hard work there is also pizza-making or cookie baking. It is educational, fun and future-focussed - and a great way for mom and dad to get a bit of time to themselves.
