Take a trip to Prison Island and walk through the island’s spectacular forestwhich is home to a variety of birds, fruit bats, tortoises and butterflies.
This half-day excursion leaves at 08:30 and returns shortly after lunch. Prison Island is a small island off the coast of Stone Town. Its main attraction is the tortoises which you can feed and pet. The tortoises were imported in the late 19th century from the Seychelles and some of them are now over 100 years old and weigh in at more than 200kg.
