Just a short drive away from the hotel is one of the best snorkeling spots on the island. The excursion typically leaves an hour before low tide and return to Michamvi about three hours later.

The best snorkeling is at low tide, as there is no current and you will get a closer and better look at the fish and coral. Your guide will take you through the coral and show you the different fish. Some of the marine life that you can expect to see include moorish idol, sergeant major (zebra fish), puffer fish, lion fish, parrot fish, pipe fish, barracuda, damsel, anemone fish (nemo) and many more.
