The visit to Lake Bogoria requires almost five hours of driving but it is well worth it. A Rift Valley Soda Lake, Bogoria is famous for its vast flocks of flamingo (both greater and lesser) and for the astounding reflections of the surrounding Laikipia escarpment. Aside from the flamingoes there is every chance of spotting other game as well - but certainly not in such vast numbers as the pink birds.
