Take a guided tour of the lake and get introduced to a way of life that is centuries old. It turns out that the fish traps of Kosi Bay are quite famous as well as hugely interesting - from historical, administrative and results perspective. Tribal chiefs allot an area to a family who construct a water-kraal - a kind of aquatic corral into which fish are herded and from which there is no escape. The skills to make the fish traps are passed down from generation to generation and for many families they are the primary source of both food and income.
