Rwanda has a lot to offer, but without a doubt it is most famous for its gorillas. The trek from the Landing is not overly arduous as these incredible creatures are within easy reach of the Singita. Spending time tracking and sitting with mountain gorillas is the ultimate wildlife experience and the reason why most people visit Rwanda on holiday. There are daily hikes to observe gorilla groups in their natural habitat, with each excursion led by an expert guide. 

Guests must note that Gorilla trekking permits need to be secured in advance. Ask ahead as Singita can assist guests in obtaining these. Daily trek groups allow for eight people per gorilla family per day, and the age limit for trekking is 15.
