If you are not specifically missioning to see the gorillas or the golden monkeys, there are still many opportunities and reasons to get out and hit the many trails and routes that surround the Landing. Head out and explore or make a plan to visit some of the incredibly interesting attractions and landmarks in teh area. these include the Musanze Caves, Dian Fossey’s Gravesite or the Mount Bisoke Crater Lake Hike. 

Some hikes are free whike others come with a fee involved. Also be sure to find out how demanding the walk is before you leave so that you can embark on something that is appropriate for your level of fitness and ability.
