Given its island location it is no surprise that the Seychelles is famous for its sea food. Its proximity to Asia also means there are strong spicy influences and currys are popular. Grilled fish and octopus curry are two standout dishes while the ubiquitous breadfruit is also a common ingredient in a lot of dishes. Look out for breadfruit chips and breadfruit mash which are both common sides.
